I was eager to try this hemp strain because I really enjoy the cartoon character it’s named after. In fact, the familiar theme song is playing in my head even as I write this.
Plus, it’s a more energizing cannabis. CBD from hemp tends to be relaxing. Some are downright couch-lock-inducing. Not so much this one.
That means that it can be enjoyed from early in the morning to late afternoon. It’s an all-day strain.
Clearly, there’s something different about this CBD flower.
It stands out in appearance and effects. Some say it has an almost lavender coloring. There are also more greenish hues.
And it has a flavor you won’t soon forget. It is sweet and citrusy.
It is an outstanding product from a reputable hemp merchant. Certified pure and organic, it’s a great smoke!
Let’s get into the specifics.

Appearance, Labeling, and First Impressions
The shipping box the Pink Panther leaf came in was about half the size of a shoebox.
Slicing open the top, I pulled the flaps aside, and it was filled with Styrofoam ‘peanuts’. Digging through those, I found the buds.
Dr. Ganja’s hemp comes in a black ‘envelope’ pack with a clear front window so that you can see the cannabis flower inside. The lettering is either green or white, somewhat alternatingly.
It is a resealable package with a ‘Ziploc’ press-and-seal strip at the top. That way you can keep your CBD hemp flower fresh.
On the front, below the big, green Dr. Ganja logo is a window that displays the fluffy, green nugs. They are backed by a silvery package lining.
There’s some basic info. The CBD hemp flower is ‘nurtured and grown in the USA’. It ‘contains 0.3% delta-9 THC or less’. And that All source plants are lab-tested to ensure there are no pesticides. There are also no microbials, no mycotoxins, and no heavy metals. Basic stuff.
Over on the back is where you will find the name of the strain. Also, there’s a brief breakdown of the cannabinoid and terpene content. Here you will find contact information and the web address.
A small paragraph cautions that the product has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. In short, there’s some useful text. I would recommend reading it through at least once.
That’s it for the packaging.
It was now time to tear open the top of the data-covered freshness packet. Now I could access the fine flower inside!
The nugs are green with purple and green colors mixed in. It does give the buds a somewhat violet tint.
They are decent-sized. Pink Panther has dense clusters of cannabis flowers.
Taking one out, it is noticeably sticky with a strong lemony smell.
It was time to grind some up and toss it in the bong bowl. Then light it up and give it a try!
Smell and Taste
Opening the Pink Panther packet, I immediately noticed a lemony, piney smell.
Again, it’s a very sticky bud. I took some up and hand-shredded it, putting the bits in my bong bowl. Then I ignited my lighter and put flame to leaf.
The aroma of the burning hemp was citrusy with a bit of earthiness. It was strong, but I wouldn’t call it dank. Some of the hemps I have tried have a very mild bouquet, but this was definitely robust. Just not overpowering.
So, I took a puff, and held it for a moment. There was a sweetness to the taste. The lemon and pine were still there but more in the background.
After exhaling, there was an earthy aftertaste. Not unpleasant, it was rather woodsy.
The piney fragrance of the haze from smoking a bowl hung in the air a good while after.
Now I wanted to assess how the herb was making me feel.
Testing Process and Experience
After a few minutes, there was a slightly relaxed feeling. Within about fifteen minutes, I felt downright mellow. Not couch-locked, just very chill.
I still was mentally alert, not dopey. I didn’t feel like my limbs were moving in slow-motion or anything.
I had waited until evening just in case the hemp hit did make me sleepy. But no worries. I was awake for several hours after that and never felt overtired.
I did sleep well that night.
Other benefits I noted included a lessening of my chronic lower back pain. My mood was light, though I hadn’t been stressed or upset before trying the Pink Panther.
I can’t be sure when the effects wore off because they weren’t overly intense. Even the next morning, I was in good spirits and relatively pain-free.
Generally, though, the effects should last a few hours.
Subsequent smokes confirmed my first impressions.
Final Verdict
This is sweet-tasting hemp. It’s got a citrusy fragrance with a mix of evergreen. And it has an earthy aftertaste.
It comes well-packaged in a resealable pouch. That keeps it fresh between uses.
The package has all kinds of information on the front and back. There are links to third-party testing results. It’s all organic with no toxins detected. And the cannabinoid profile is verified. Thus, you can feel good about dosing with this hemp.
Hitting on this hemp gives you good relaxation without being sedated. And the effects last for hours.
It’s good early morning cannabis. Or it works throughout the day. I tried it before bedtime and still slept fine.
It’s worthy hemp with good flavor and mildly relaxing benefits. Now you have a clue, so consider buying some. I think you’ll like Pink Panther.
