Curious to learn about one of the best CBD strains to smoke for relaxation and good sleep? Well, at least that’s what our customers say about Pineberry hemp. Not only is it wonderful to smell and taste, but its wide array of terpenes enhances the strain’s overall effects. Read on to find out more.
Genetics
The Pineberry CBD strain is a cross between Ringo’s Gift and Early Resin Berry (ERB). Ringo’s Gift is a high CBD strain with Harle-Tsu and ACDC genetics. And its name pays homage to the late cannabis activist, Lawrence Ringo. This parent strain is best known for its intelligent mix of cerebral and physical effects, like focus and relaxation.
Pineberry’s second parent, ERB is a well-known hemp strain in the hemp world. Also, it happens to be a great strain to create new and exciting high CBD strains.
Appearance
The buds on Pineberry hemp are small to medium-sized and packed tight, creating dense nugs. They have a sea of green and yellow shades, along with dark-orange hairs that further diversify the bud’s appeal.
Additionally, this strain has a sticky texture thanks to its resin production. And there are lots of white crystal trichomes on this plant that adorns the beautiful dried and cured hemp nugs.
CBD and THC Concentration
On average, Pineberry has moderate levels of CBD that range from 13% to 15%. Although this may sound low compared to other CBD hemp strains, the diverse terpene profile and combination of other cannabinoids like CBG, CBC, and Delta-9 THC make for a potent smoking experience.
The reason terpenes and multiple cannabinoids in one strain improve the potency have to do with the “entourage effect.” This term says that the combination of cannabis plant compounds increases the synergy of the effects. In other words, “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”
Aroma/Scent
Like its name, the aroma of the Pineberry strain is chock-full of pine and berry scents with noticeable hints of lemony citrus and even lavender. The smell is divine and may entice you to take random whiffs from your stash bag throughout the day.
Flavor/Taste
To get the most from the flavor profile of this CBD hemp strain, we recommend using a vaporizer. It will preserve and enhance the taste, so you can enjoy the piney and sweet notes of the hemp flower.
Smoking this hemp flower strain in a joint will still provide some of these flavors, but they’ll be more subtle because the combustion process takes away from them.
Effects
Pineberry CBD hemp has a stronger Indica-dominance than Sativa. Also, it has an abundance of terpenes that give the plant its scent and has a role in the potential effects.
For instance, the high myrcene content in this strain not only gives it a fruity aroma but is known as a sedative. So, if you smoke or vape a lot of this hemp flower strain in one sitting it could deeply relax your body and muscles, while helping you fall fast asleep.
Even more, Pineberry has a decent concentration of the terpene, Pinene. This is responsible for its pine scent, and for promoting uplifting and energizing effects. If you plan to smoke during the day, take a few hits to elevate your focus. But be careful not to smoke too much in the daytime because it can promote tiredness.
Price Range per gram
At Dr.Ganja we sell the Pineberry strain in airtight mylar bags of 1, 3.5, 7, 14, and 28 grams (1 ounce). One gram costs $10, whereas 14 grams only costs $55. When you break down this cost by dollar/gram it comes out to just under $4/gram. So, if you really love it and consume often, buying in larger quantities adds up to cost savings.
