Description

Another relatively new strain that is making the rounds again this year, Sour Blackberry Kush is a hybrid flower that accentuates the day, giving a slight tingle in both the body and head without losing too much focus. These attributes make it a great all-day strain that can be used effectively in the morning with your tea or coffee, after your afternoon lunch, or as the day is winding down.

A few of the strains we carry at Dr. Ganja have the wonderful effect of causing music to be more pleasurable, and if you consume enough of SBK, she is definitely one of them. A stocky, very dense flower, she is incredibly sticky and may clog up your grinder if not ground in small doses (this is a good thing, as the more sticky, the more trichomes, the more trichomes, the more cannabinoids and terpenes).

Overall, Sour Blackberry Kush is a great addition to the Dr.Ganja “all-day” strain line-up, bringing its own steady, calm, and pleasurable effects to the table. When comparing it to strains that function similarly such as our Lifter or Abacus, she holds up quite nicely. Seriously though, take some SBK and put on your headphones!

Sour Blueberry Kush does contain some seeds (which actually may be a good thing, as many of our customers have asked for seeds!).

Appearance
These nugs have little give to the touch, hinting at their density despite proper curation. Emerald green leaves are saddled next to delicate orange and brown pistils, all while shimmering due to the hair-like, crystal-like appendages.

Smell
Not too much sour on the smell, Sour Blackberry Kush has a woody, cedar-esque aroma with subtle notes of pine.

Taste
SBK ’s name has more to do with the genetics than the actual taste or smell, as she surprisingly has a peppery, earthy, and slight mushroom-y taste that reminds you of the sweet earth she came from.

Effects
As mentioned previously, Sour Blackberry Kush is a strain that accentuates the senses, particularly hearing. It doesn’t get much better than winding up or winding down the day with a little SBK and your favorite tunes. The dominant effects focus neither too much in the head or the body but is spread evenly throughout, causing a relaxed and euphoric effect that dissipates gradually without the usual lethargic comedown seen in many hybrids and some indica-dominant flower. The well-balanced characteristics of this hybrid make it a great all-day strain or for whenever you want to add a little spice to your day.
