Xanthan Gum
Xanthan Gum, pronounced “zan-than”, is a polysaccharide that is made with a specific fermentation process using glucose and sucrose. Xanthan is a food additive that emulsifies, binds and/or thickens recipes. It is typically used in baked goods, salad dressings, ice cream, sauces and numerous other products. Xanthan gum aids in preventing oil separation and helps to provide a smoother consistency in the foods it is added to. It also helps to keep foods from drying out too quickly. Xanthan is often used in hemp gummies and syrups.

I’m terribly sorry for your confusion.
Hemp delta 9 gummies will be psychoactive, as will any other delta isomer such as delta 8 or delta 10.
There are many other cannabinoids that will grant a euphoric effect.
Check the cannabinoid filters on the edibles page and use the Dr.Ganja Dictionary as an informational resource.
As for how much oil to use, that would be entirely at your discretion.
The key is to understand how many milligrams of cannabinoids per single dose and your comfort levels.
Always begin slowly and access your comfort. Then slowly take more as needed.
